A couple things stick out:
Why did you get out after 17 years? Medical?
A specialist's retention control point (RCP) is 8 years...you'd be 9 years past RCP and not eligible for continued service.

Well it appears that you are a veteran so I'll answer the question assuming you are completely out of the service. It will depend on your age, how many years of AFS you have (off hand I don't know if you did any USAR or NG time), tattoos you may have, law violations you may have incurred since getting out, why you got out and of course you would need a medical review of the documents for your leg.

I seen many Soldiers with injuries that have reenlisted. To my knowledge, as long as your injury doesn't limit your ability to perform your duty, you should be able to reenlist if you are cleared by medical.
