I had been working to get SLC rescheduled after deferring twice. The last word I got is that I was bottom priority since 350 35 series got picked up for SFC this last board. Today I got an email that says "A wait status has been entered in the Army Training Requirements and Resources System
(ATRRS) by the quota source manager controlling the subject course for the following Soldier/student. A wait status does not guarantee enrollment. You will be notified of any change in status prior to the start date of this course." My J1 said to call the schoolhouse about the timeline which I will but wondering if anyone else has dealt with being put in as "wait status" and how long you found out if you got an actual enrollment or not.

I had a talk with leadership...I figured out how I got put on wait status and how they're going to get me there for the class start and hopefully someone defers or cancels and I get in.

A wait status generally means that you're not enrolled in the class. In my experience, it's been due to the class being full.

I know what it means but was wondering if anyone has ever been put on wait status and did they get into the class. Did they have to report to the school to see if they got in or do they notify you in advance.

The thing is I deferred twice for my daughter's medical issues. Tried to reschedule myself and got told from HRC I would be rescheduled "IAW STEP." So the Navy O6 here who is one commander (joint unit) had said he would make some calls because he knows a general at Huachuca. He emailed me a couple weeks ago he was still working it and then I got this wait reservation.

I just don't want to get everything set up, go out to AZ and then I get turned around and come back. I just wanted to see if anyone else had gone through being on the wait list.

Best thing to do is prepare as if you are going. If you are called up you will be ready.
