You do this by contacting your Retention NCO. As for if you should re-class or get out.....that answer is entirely up to you. Economy isn't as booming as everyone thinks. If you don't have any other traits than your Army stuff, then you're best bet is to stay in. If you don't like your current MOS, re-classify and get ready to go to the school to expand your traits. You're best bet since you've only been in for a short period of time is to gain your leadership skills and attain more knowledge. If you don't like anything else that is available to you via Army, why not try a different branch?

Don't just give up after only being in one enlistment; civilian world is very hard after someone who's been in the service; the perspective is different than before you went to boot. I can't explain it to well but trust me when I say, it's very different.

Please stay in; you'll thank me later. Should I go left?, right?, forward?, up?, down?, fast?, slow? Get my point...? Your question has no meaning until we know where you want to go.

If you aren't single, you and your spouse need to decide what you want. If you have kids, your desires for yourself mean nothing... what doors can you open for your kids before they have to open doors for themselves.

What do you want our life to look like at the end? Does the Army get you further down the way or not? If you are single, only you can answer that.

We can only help if we know where you are going.

P.S. Disregard directions from people that have never been where you want to go. (People who do not swim or boat or build bridges probably have precious little insight on how to cross the ocean.)
