There is no extra kid allowance. If you are drawing BAH, you would draw at the with dependents rate if you have custody of her for half of the time. If you are married, you would already draw it at the with dependent rate. Google the DFAS BAH calculator you can see what I see authorized for your grade and location , at the with and without dependents rate.

Enrolling her in DEERS provides for Affordable Care Act Compliant Health Insurance. dental is different and you have to pay for family members. These could be compensation as they have real value. Check with your attorney on impact to child support. Your child's mother (if not a DoD member) would need a white ID card issued with the privileges that your daughter would eligibile for like commissary, FMWR, PX, etc. your installation ID card office could answer questions on this.

tread lightly. from the way your comment is worded it sounds like this child was conceived with another woman while you are married. that is pretty solid proof of adultery which is a UCMJ offense and could result in an Article 15 or court martial. I've seen it happen.

Roger Sir. My daughter was born before I was married.

SPC (Join to see) - then I would suggest you rephrase that in the future. instead of "outside my marriage" say "from before my marriage". avoids confusion and questions.
