I have seen a lot of post from the military mention a conflict with a Commander. Is there a problem with this in the military now?

My commanders and I often butted heads....as two head strong leaders are apt to do...but it was behind closed doors.. Mommy and daddy ever fight in front of the kids.
And end of the day, when the decision was made, it was his, and I implemented it with the same tenacity and work ethic as if it were mine.

A friend, fellow RP member and a former SM of mine, a senior leader himself now.. Reminded me.... The kids always new when the commander and I were arguing... I suppose we were never quite about it..lol
But He said,,, what made the impression was, when the door opened, his or mine we walked out a united front...him coming to my position or I to his. He did not go to the LT's and say, ok we are going to do this 1SG's way (or later Sergeant Majors way).
We both told our respective group of leaders, we are doing it THIS way.

SGM. that's the way to do it. That even carried over to civilian work for me. Saved me a lot of problems for I was never reported to management for our disagreements.

Nah. Social media just makes it easier to voice a bitch and moan to a wider audience.

LTC Social media was a unheard term when I was wearing the blue. But it is a good though.

I Don't know. Good Questions. Only had one Commander (CO) that was full Capt'n Quigley Nuts and He Gave me a Beneficial Mast so I can't even pick on him that much.

PO1 Brian Austin - I think everybody loved the Killer Tomato. Only thing better was finding a "Hazard to Navigation".
