SrA,
I think stereotyping people based on certain beliefs or ideologies is dangerous. I know many great soldiers who have made tremendous sacrifices for the country who would be labelled as "liberal".

Personally, I'm getting a little tired with these leeches trying to score points by using us for their own profits. If you want to raise money for veterans then use veterans. If you are trying to sell houses, then quit showing the "tender homecoming" to sell insurance, telephones, adult diapers.........

Unfortunately, they use the military to suit their emotional needs. Liberals tend to "think" with their emotions instead of rationally, which is why they will pander to the military and the American populace.

You know the "vast majority" of the 100 million or so in this country who YOU would classify as "liberal"? Wow, you must have an amazingly booked up calendar and cellular contact list.

I read a report done by a 3rd party who investigated all Veteran programs of this nature, and WWP was the ONLY one to receive an overall A rating when all things were considered. This was back in about 2009. That is why I joined them.

Since then I have nothing but greatness in dealing with them. I receive immediate responses to my emails. I am offered free activities in my area every month, some just for me, some for me and a guest, and some for me and several people.

We aren't talking about just little things either. I am talking about free room and board at multi day activities like Tough mudder, or a 4 day health symposium, golfing classes, rock climbing, surfing, scuba diving, etc. They pay for any specialized gear you may need to do these activities due to disabilities.

And ALL at ZERO cost to the Veteran.

If you get on their site, they have a few different programs you can join too, from outdoor activities to help getting back into shape after being wounded, and other such things too.

They also send out frequent email updates one what is going on for veterans in politics. Some people have stated they do not like this, but I for one see it as a pertinent, and important function of any advocate.

That's my experience with them anyways.
