I just had my orders changed for Fort Carson, CO. How is the aviation unit there? Specifically for supply life?

Not sure about the aviation unit there but Ft Carson CO is awesome. Incredible!!! Gorgeous! We trained hard and stayed ready for war. CO Springs is a great town, they have pretty much whatever you would like. Great town, told my wife I would like to go back to CO.

I've never met a single person who disliked living at Fort Carson. My brother was stationed there and he and his wife loved it

Outside of unit life... extremely hot, extremely cold, extremely dry, thin UV, high elevation, hail in July, rattlesnakes everywhere, loose shale mountains, mountain lions, no trees, no grass, all brown, rude local people, disorganized units, but a really clean CIF

The Brigade was good when I was there. There put a lot of money into new buildings and hangars for them. It’s a nice place to live but can be a little expensive to live in most areas.
