However you probably will go.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 1 at 2017 4:54 PM2017-10-01T16:54:17-04:002017-10-01T16:54:17-04:00TSgt Johnnie Keller2962855<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's only AT man, just go and get it over with. Besides, it will give you another good year, just in case you decide to return to the RC later.Response by TSgt Johnnie Keller made Oct 1 at 2017 4:59 PM2017-10-01T16:59:36-04:002017-10-01T16:59:36-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member2964219<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you speak to your Commander and give a compelling argument to not go, then you may be excused. But then, you may not. But I would recommend you go as you can provide experience and guidance that others in your unit will need.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 2 at 2017 9:45 AM2017-10-02T09:45:05-04:002017-10-02T09:45:05-04:00SGT Dave Tracy2964284<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Probably. In my old unit, unless someone had a real good reason or had gone to a school over the fiscal year, they went to AT, even if they were a short-timer. Hell, 3 years ago, we had a guy whose wife was due over AT--and in fact did deliver over AT--and he had to go. They shipped him back once she went into labor, but still had to go up until that point.Response by SGT Dave Tracy made Oct 2 at 2017 10:21 AM2017-10-02T10:21:34-04:002017-10-02T10:21:34-04:00SGM Mikel Dawson2964289<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What's the big deal? Go to AT, do your best for the unit one more time and leave with your head high. Don't be remember as the "dud who skipped his last AT".
