Regardless if it’s over the phone. It’s going to be a while before you hear from them. It took them 4 months to get back to me on their proposed rating.Response by MSG Dan Castaneda made Apr 14 at 2020 12:41 AM2020-04-14T00:41:08-04:002020-04-14T00:41:08-04:00SGT Christopher Hayden5773755<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Nothing from the VA is meant to benefit Veterans. How you're supposed to express or be examined by a Doctor via a phone, I don't know. This is literally something that is going to effect your future and if they mess it up or you feel like you got shafted, you're going to end up in years worth of dealing with them to fix it.Response by SGT Christopher Hayden made Apr 14 at 2020 12:51 AM2020-04-14T00:51:32-04:002020-04-14T00:51:32-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member5775210<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No. You get rated based on the disability - that doesn't change by phone call or being face-to-face. Either way you get to express what is wrong/hurts and a doctor reviews your records.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 14 at 2020 11:53 AM2020-04-14T11:53:28-04:002020-04-14T11:53:28-04:00SFC Jake Middaugh5775401<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I agree with CPT Garbarini, should be same video or face-to-face. <br />You need to prepare your own claims so you submit a complete claim (all records & forms) AND prep for the C&P exam. <br />I highly recommend looking on YouTube for the "Combat Craig" channel.
