I’m a 35F ready to leave Irwin, and I was wondering if anyone had any information on Shaw AFB or ARCENT in general?

I was offered Shaw, but I feel like it’s hard to find any real information on what an analyst would be doing for ARCENT. If anyone has been with ARCENT that has any more information on their specific mission, and what to expect please let me know!

ARCENT is in a brand new building at Shaw and they have a forward HQ in the Mideast. I'm no rocket surgeon but I'm guessing you would be in the G2 analyzing Mid East intel and sending out all those updates that show up on my red screen.

Shaw's a bit of a gem once you are used to it. I was there for almost 8 years, and the downtown is coming along nicely for what it is. The houses are some if the cheapest you'll ever be able to buy for what you get. The ARCENT is a pretty nice building as well. I'd give it a go personally.

One of my Soldiers who just left my current command was at Shaw before coming here, and my former NCOIC who shifted to a different position in the command will be there in about a month. I can put you in contact with them.
