I've heard it's harder for mos such as mine to go AGR. Can someone who's not a 42A or supply, tell me if they've applied for AGR.I'm a 92G for the Army Reserves. Is it still possible to be able to apply AGR?2018-09-14T22:20:09-04:002LT Private RallyPoint Member3965221

I'd like to go active, and I'm trying to see what would be my best route. So the basic questions must be answered first.

1. What is your age?
2. What is your current ht/wt?
3. Do you or have you had any medical issues, surgeries, since joining the Reserves?
4. What is your current GT score?Response by SFC A.M. There are good points and bad. I went in as a medic and had to switch MOS 3 times because the AGR positions and MOS / rank don’t correlate. I went from 68W20 as a MDAY/TPU member. Became a detachment adamin NCO as a 91J, went to a CA team back as a medic for a deployment. Came back as a 88N into a training NCO Slot. Became readiness NCO as a 88N30, then finished in the S4 in a 92Y40 slot. I admit this may not help on the reserve side but there isn’t a easy way to to it.Response by SFC David Bentley made Sep 15 at 2018 8:59 PM2018-09-15T20:59:25-04:002018-09-15T20:59:25-04:002018-09-14T22:20:09-04:00
