I'm a "Dino" tanker served on the M48A3 and "Slick" M60. So, are you a "Dino", "Starship" or a "Jedi"?

"Dino" it would be! Trained on M48A3 in '68. M60 service in Ft. Carson, then M48's in Vietnam. Then training new LTs on M60s in Ft. Knox thru '71!
Funny, your post came right while I was in the middle of coordinating this year's reunion of my Carson/Vietnam unit, the 1/77 Armor.

So you did some OPFOR work. I spent six months at Fort Irwin between tours in Germany back in 1967. Then about ten years later I came back to Irwin for a national guard summer camp. Back in 1939-41 my father was in A Troop 11th Cavalry at the Presidio of Monterey. This was before they were armored cav, just had horses.
