That is the process. If there's not a spot there, then you won't go there. If you feel you're special enough you can apply to Asymmetrical Warfare Group at AP Hill once you meet the minimum requirements to apply. Otherwise, you keep requesting once a month, pick another duty station, or ETS and move there.

Fort Lee is likely the only location and they have a minimal 92F presence due to being a TRADOC base. If you have sent up 2 hot lines, you likely aren't going to get a job in VA.
