I'm AD in Germany and my fiancee is Reserve. How will it work for her to come to live with me?

SPC (Join to see) have her find a reserve unit in Germany and get a letter of acceptance and she can transfer to it.

Congrats on the middle step. The only problem is, the Army doesn't recognize fiancee's....They see either you are single or married...... Once you get married and get all the paperwork submitted for command sponsorship etc etc and get housing, then it's no problem for her to come live with you once she's on your orders...... The reserves here in Europe doesn't grant you a status in Germany unless she come over on tour of duty on active status for a year or AGR. If she is regular TPU and was to follow you on her own, she would have to find a unit hopefully prior to coming, then find a job either with the Americans on base or German economy, plus find a place to live. As mentioned above, being a regular TPU Soldier doesn't grant you a status, she would be on tourist status. She will have a 90 day window starting from the time the passport get stamped at airport to find a job to be in Germany legally.

Where are you in Germany? She can be assigned to the 21ST TSC or 37TH TRANS in Kaiserslautern (K-Town), Germany. If not Germany maybe Vicenza, Italy or Rotterdam, Netherlands.
