There are so many E5s that E4s haven't been promoted in 2yrs. If you want to use your skills to the max, I would recommend 25V or 46R. A skilled 25M can be used in some units, like WHCA, DMA or USASOC. But 8/10 times add duties or staff positions. I am a SSG 25M working with AFN. Let me know if I can help outResponse by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 6 at 2017 1:26 PM2017-02-06T13:26:37-05:002017-02-06T13:26:37-05:00SFC J Fullerton2319295<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>25M is an ACASP MOS. (Army Civilian Acquired Skills Program). Applicants who meet the qualifications for the applicable MOS enlist without going to AIT. However, there still must be vacancies in the MOS and you have to otherwise qualify. Being Prior Service, you are restricted to the HRC Prior Service Business Rules, which may or may not make exceptions for ACASP applicants. It changes frequently, so you will need to contact an Army Recruiter for the updated USAREC Message on ACASP for prior service.Response by SFC J Fullerton made Feb 7 at 2017 7:11 AM2017-02-07T07:11:13-05:002017-02-07T07:11:13-05:00SPC Edward Krayenhagen2319406<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>25M no longer exists. Your rank, age, TIS, skill identifiers, etc. <br /><br />Right now, the business rules won't let you come back in as a 25M for Active. As of the latest message. <br /><br />But hit up your local recruiter, they'll keep you posted on your options.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 7 at 2017 3:49 PM2017-02-07T15:49:01-05:002017-02-07T15:49:01-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member2661081<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Whatever happened Mendoza, did you join as 25M? However, be aware that you are sacrificing promotion oportunities to do an artistic job. Also, be aware that most units don't know how to use their 25Ms, unless you work in USASOC, WHCA, or the Pentagon.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 2 at 2017 9:23 PM2017-09-02T21:23:04-04:002017-09-02T21:23:04-04:002017-02-06T12:40:02-05:00
