I’m currently in the IRR and want to go back active. What would be my best options?

Step 1: Call a Recruiter. Google "army recruiter near me."
Step 2: Ask the Recruiter all questions. Policy changes, and there are a -lot- of individual questions to ask-- so take all commands from the tower, so to speak.

You need to fill out DA Form 368 with your recruiter to suspend your IRR status. If you go back within three years, then you probably don't need to go back to BCT.
