For OPSEC purposes you want to take the UIC out of your question. Second, you’re a mechanic headed to Ft. Hood which is a heavy mechanized unit. Expect to work on humvees, bradleys, strykers, mraps, matvs, Abrams tanks, hekmats, etc. Ft. Hood has every military vehicle you can think of. Have fun in “The Great Place.”

I agree with SSG Pefley, according to FMSWEB you are going to 1st CAV DIV Sustainment BDE (Replacement). I also agree with SSG Eashman you need to remove the UIC from your question. You should of got a sponsor who reached out and "welcomed" you. To edit you post there should be the word edit below your post above the facebook and twitter buttons. Best of luck in your new assignment.

I would agree with SGM Joel Cook in that you won't get pin point orders. Your orders get you to the BDE, and your BDE manning NCO figures out where within the BDE you're most needed. And if any unit is under strength and they have priority (deployment) you may well not go to that BDE at all.
