I'm just curious, how do we know that people on here are actually Soldiers and not a member of a group trying to gather Intel on us?

Us members are pretty good at self-policing and weeding out the fakes. I've caught a few suspicious types myself and reported them to admin.

true....This day and age you never know...I guess if you look at their Mil history you can tell...if you look and spot things that seem strange

SGT (Join to see) I'm not actually a Soldier! :O
I'm a Sailor. ;) Couldn't resist. Anyway, very good question, brother. I had the very same question. Looks like you got a few outstanding responses.

There's a point here as well. I know very little about other Services. You could say you graduated Navy Seal training and I have no idea where to start with questions to validate that. Chances are you don't know the right questions to ask to know for sure that I'm a graduate of Ranger School. I'm fairly confident that the Staff here validates Service but I highly question their ability to weed out any Stolen Valor. Of course, RP members can usually spot people in their Branch or Specialty when "something isn't right" about a specific person's claim.
