I've been in weapons squad for three years and in a typical line squad for a deployment (about 6 months) any info is helpful even if it is finish school and then go looking because I'm accustomed to disappointment in the army

Why don't you worry about passing OCS, then deploying?

How can anyone provide you information on a platoon that will be going on deployment in three years. That is an impossible task. How do you know you will be a First Lieutenant in three years when you are a SPC now? Are you planning on skipping the rank of Second Lieutenant? If you are accustomed to disappointment in the Army, why don't you get out?

If this is a serious post, explain your question better because it makes no sense as written.

The minimum TIG between O1 and O2 is 18 months. When/how do you plan to become an officer? It's not realistic to say who will need a PLT for a deployment in 3 years.
If you are disappointed in the Army, why would you want to commission or stay in? Do you think things will get better as an officer? There are things that suck being at the 'bottom', it happens for enlisted and officers. Everyone has someone telling them what to do at every rank.
If you are looking for a change of pace, maybe look for another unit or changing your MOS.
