I'm PCSing to 4th ID 1-41 C-CO. Anyone have any experience with 1-41?

I'm very familiar with the Colorado Springs area as my wife is from there, I re-enlisted to go to Carson specifically, just want to know a little insight about the unit itself. I've dug around the internet and found out the basic history and Chain Of Command, just kind of curious about peoples experience, training rotations, field time, leadership and general opinion about the unit. I'm currently deployed and will be an E-5 when I arrive.

Hopefully they are a better unit today certainly they are no longer with the 2nd Armored Division which had it's colors cased after the first Gulf War.

Did my last year at fort Carson great place for duty station. Has a lot of places you can go n hike see the scenery parks . Liked the training n post
