I really want to call Fort Bragg home( since it’s 3 1/2 hours from where I was raised) and really don’t want to go to Fort Drum. Would I get to pick from open slots at MEPS?I’m prior service and I’m going into the active army. You can ask but it will not have to be honored. AD does not work like the NG. AD component chooses were you go, while the NG you choose, especially if it deals with promotions.
