In fact my immediate support NCO is prior Navy. There's a few other prior Navy guys in my unit, and I also had a few in Basic as well. Granted they entered Army BCT as NCO's so they were treated differently but still. Talk to a recruiter the fiscal year starts over in I believe October so I would start the process now because I have been trying to enlist since December. I never knew why it was there. Also, it was written in and not typed in, meaning someone wrote over what was there already. I was never sent to medical for anything other than getting hurt on duty and was a 4.0 sailor the entire time I was on active duty. The Air Force is very strict on prior service anyway, but with an RE3, it&#39;s an insurmountable issue. If it isn&#39;t a RE1, forget the Air Force.
