UPDATE: Spoke to my recruiter this morning and what I need right now is a letter from my doc clearing me of my "disability" to be able to push the waiver through. SPC (Join to see)

Yea, now I just need to get that letter. Lol. Mental Health and my PCP are playing ping pong with me about who should write the letter for me.

I would think pretty good if you have overcome the RE-3G condition and the AF is willing to request a waiver. You will not know until you seek out an AF recruiter.

Good luck!

I know I have. I was young and dumb and made an ignorant decision. I've matured since then and feel like it's the best time for me.

I don't know about Air Force, but I can tell you I've seen more than a few Sailors go Army. In fact my immediate support NCO is prior Navy. There's a few other prior Navy guys in my unit, and I also had a few in Basic as well. Granted they entered Army BCT as NCO's so they were treated differently but still.

So they made them go through Basic again?

Yes, I can't remember if it was because of the change in branch of if they had been out of service for too long. They had all been out for 2 or more years before enlisting in the Army. As they were NCO's in the Navy that transferred over to the Army so they had a far different Basic than we did.
