You'll have classroom training at JBSA then OJT at some other location in a hospital. How long the OJT is, that I do not know. As for what the job is like, it's direct patient care in a hospital/clinical setting.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 27 at 2022 12:30 PM2022-04-27T12:30:01-04:002022-04-27T12:30:01-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member7646293<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Oh, and I highly recommend you beef up on Anatomy & Physiology. Study your pharmacology as well.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 27 at 2022 12:35 PM2022-04-27T12:35:30-04:002022-04-27T12:35:30-04:00SP5 Olivia Bentley7656229<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Basically you are LPN, licensed practical nurse. I felt a times I was alot of similar tasks like an RN, registered nurse, except we are not allowed to take verbal order from Doctor, do a blood gas or start PCA pump. (Morphine) It was 12 hour shifts, but I really enjoyed my job and I was proud to help people get well. :-)Response by SP5 Olivia Bentley made May 3 at 2022 6:48 AM2022-05-03T06:48:25-04:002022-05-03T06:48:25-04:00CPL Audrey Selking7719922<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Just make sure you study a good bit, and there is a good app for the NCLEX called NCLEX PN Mastery. Nursing is a good career, there are so many different positions within nursing. Don’t hesitate to message me if you have more questions. Good luck!Response by CPL Audrey Selking made Jun 9 at 2022 5:11 PM2022-06-09T17:11:20-04:002022-06-09T17:11:20-04:002022-04-27T12:26:04-04:00
