I'm sure this has been asked before, but is it allowed for a senior NCO to require a soldier to perform extra duty without rhyme or reason?

Herein lies my similar concern in another post. Should the moral terpitude clause be reinstated back into the UCMJ..the amounts of retaliation and purely prejudicial treatments i have seen in 3 branches is mind boggling..the incompetence and lazyness that gets promoted yet the better quality are ignored and dismissed..this is exactly what persists to this day..

I should hardly think not. How could the NCO possibly justify it when it would appear to be purely prejudicial?
