All by next Friday. Pending which if maybe all (ideally) come through, start date is the same for each. Pay is about the same as it is adjusted for the local cost of living index. That said. I care most about living some place warmer than Wisconsin where I am now. All have that trait going for them. I hate cold! As for a single guy with no wife or kids, mid 30s, loves outdoors and night life and wants to find a wife soon. What city do some of you here who have lived (not just been there for a while) suggest would be a potentially best place to live for a good while. I&#39;d like to settle down for a good while to get the family started once and for all. I may have offers from 3 locations for identical jobs at Fort Carson, Morris ANG Base and Goodfellow AFB. You have Pikes Peak right there so there is not shortage of hiking. It does get cold there but I am sure not as much as Wisconsin. It can get a little pricey for places to live there with having three major military bases surrounding the Colorado Springs area. The Briargate area in the Springs seems to be the most expensive part of town along with living in the downtown part. Or if you don&#39;t mind dry blistering heat of Arizona....plus all the retirees and fair weather birds that winter there. I&#39;ve been to Carson. Beautiful area. But I do hear the winters there can be pretty bad Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 15 at 2020 12:19 AM 2020-08-15T00:19:40-04:00 2020-08-15T00:19:40-04:00 CPT Private RallyPoint Member 6208743 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I guess if you are picking a numbers game with dating, the population density should play a bigger role in finding a partner. It has very different geographies and different climates per areas. I would not recommend Goodfellow AFB. San Angelo is in the middle of nowhere. Your closet city is 100mi away being Abilene which has about as much to offer. If you&#39;re a veteran, Abilene has VA outpatient clinic, it sucks. Closest VA hospital is in Big Springs which has nothing to offer. They have very little specialty personnel to help and will refer you to the VA clinic in Midland/Odessa which still sucks. The area is very dry, little rain, occasional spells of humidity, but mostly dry. If you know someone with land you have hunting going for you. You want to fish, drive 100mi to Abilene for Lake Kirby or Ft Phantom, or Lake Abilene in Buffalo Gap at the Abilene State Park. I&#39;ve lived in the area majority of my life.
