All you can do is try, normal reversals right now are due to discharges because of behavior problems, which actually were PTSD/TBI induced. Give it your best shot, just don&#39;t hold your breath SGM Bill Frazer Sat, 02 Dec 2017 19:38:47 -0500 2017-12-02T19:38:47-05:00 Response by SSG Edward Tilton made Dec 2 at 2017 7:42 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-received-general-under-honorable-discharge-with-an-re-4-after-leaving-the-national-guard-can-i-change-the-re4?n=3139304&urlhash=3139304 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Probably do better going into the Reserves or Guard RE4 is a tuff one SSG Edward Tilton Sat, 02 Dec 2017 19:42:00 -0500 2017-12-02T19:42:00-05:00 Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 3 at 2017 12:36 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-received-general-under-honorable-discharge-with-an-re-4-after-leaving-the-national-guard-can-i-change-the-re4?n=3139777&urlhash=3139777 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hello, Nicholas it is very hard because not only you have a General Discharge with Honorable Conditions, but you have a RE code 4 as well. I know the RE 3 and above is deliverable , bit I don&#39;t believe it is possible. However, your best options is to talk to a recruiter. You may have to look for the right recruiter because some of them won&#39;t waste their time with you or anything . It is a lot of paperwork and waiver involved as well. You can do your research and look into your DD 214 about what your code states. Because your code also has a separation code for why you got out as well. I hope you learn from your bad choices or mistake if you can get back in. Because sometimes situation like this make us more humble in life. I wish you the best if luck on this. Also, don&#39;t let anyone tell you that your not entitled to any VA benefits as well. You can&#39;t used the G.I. Bill ,bit you can pretty much use everything else as well. However , talk to a VA rep. Good luck. I have seen these questions before and they never fare well. I am curious as to know how you can get an Honorable Discharge and an RE4. I have never heard of that. But why would you want to change the RE4 code. Do you want to return back to the military? If not then it really doesn&#39;t affect you. I was discharge with a general under honorable and was entitled to my gi-bill. They give you a label then make themselves look stupid with giving you an Re-4 code. So what is it a general under honorable or a bad conduct discharge? I been through this and the Navy board is full of shit too. But I have new evidence against their asses and they will retire me rather then keep lying. AN Rafael Perez Tue, 13 Apr 2021 00:46:24 -0400 2021-04-13T00:46:24-04:00 2017-12-02T18:12:34-05:00
