Hello, Nicholas it is very hard because not only you have a General Discharge with Honorable Conditions, but you have a RE code 4 as well. I know the RE 3 and above is deliverable , bit I don't believe it is possible. However, your best options is to talk to a recruiter. You may have to look for the right recruiter because some of them won't waste their time with you or anything . It is a lot of paperwork and waiver involved as well. You can do your research and look into your DD 214 about what your code states. Because your code also has a separation code for why you got out as well. I hope you learn from your bad choices or mistake if you can get back in. Because sometimes situation like this make us more humble in life. I wish you the best if luck on this. Also, don't let anyone tell you that your not entitled to any VA benefits as well. You can't used the G.I. Bill ,bit you can pretty much use everything else as well. However , talk to a VA rep. Good luck.

Thank you for the input. I'll do my best to correct this and VA benefits are for those who deserve them. I don't deserve veteran's privileges but would like to earn my way back into the Army. I'll do my best. Thank you.

I am going to be honest with you. I have seen these questions before and they never fare well. I am curious as to know how you can get an Honorable Discharge and an RE4. I have never heard of that. But why would you want to change the RE4 code. Do you want to return back to the military? If not then it really doesn't affect you.

Hey LT so I got a RE4 code for a stupid mistake back in 2017 during my time in service. I went on leave for 2 weeks came back and failed my UA from THC. I had recieved an honorable discharge because of my hard dedication while in. Its been nearly 2 years now do you think its possible to get a waiver to join back with honorable conditions? I want to go back in and deploy with whatever unit i just dont wanna be a civilian anymore

CPT, I agree with you 100% on that. Maybe things changed now and they catching the Navy out there. Because that does not make any sense. It a label to destroy your character. But when you explain it the employer says what they did made no sense. That needs to be corrected. As I said before with my General under honorable in 2003 I was considered honorable and was entitled to my GI Bill. Maybe a General is different now I do not know but I'm sure things have changed since I been out. Its been over 18 years. They tried to ruine me but I got the last laugh a free Masters degree and a nice rating. I'm going for my retirement on their ass too for the wrongfull discharge. Booting me out with a broken wrist in a CAST

Right anything may be possible , but many are unlikely. All you can do is try, normal reversals right now are due to discharges because of behavior problems, which actually were PTSD/TBI induced. Give it your best shot, just don't hold your breath
