I served during the Cold War; and thus never saw combat. Were you glad to be in combat?

I didn't think of it as a correction, just that that description didn't fit my experience.

SPC Margaret Higgins I served during the Cold War and just did my duty honor country with 6 combat deployments. Glad I am retired to talk about it after near life death experiences. I still think about the souls that perished.

That is all that you can do; now.
I actually talk to my father; and two other souls. In the mornings when I am getting ready for my day.

I think the feeling was that we are finally able to put to use what we have trained so long for. For us at sea on Carriers it was just a normal day at the office.

SCPO David Lockwood, That is the kind of response for which I have been looking. I did not ask that question correctly. You are absolutely correct.
