I submitted a DD-368 and last I heard it was about to be sent to BDE. I'm having employer issues, is there a way to speed up the process?

I recently left my employer and I'm having issues finding another job. Bill's don't stop and I'm a single provider for myself, son and wife. Thanks in advance.

The last I heard on the recruiting side NG will not be signing 368’s for personnel reasons. They may be giving you the run around. You want to get the BLUF because if they aren’t going to sign it then you’d need to know.
Also, just out of curiosity, why did you quit your job? If you hadn’t received the 368 yet? We always tel people to continue living life normally. Until you’re accepted then your not in the program
or component that you’ve applied for.

SSG, I'm not MOS-Q and my situation is different than any other 368 going through currently. I was an IST transfer and previous state messed up my ETS date, a difference of 6 months. I quit my job because I've been working in the oilfield for the last 2.5 years and got burned out. My last week there I sat for 4 days not working.

Ah, ok. That I don’t know much about. Do you have a number for your TAG office? That’s who we go directly to if we need hard answers. Or maybe someone in your COC.SGT (Join to see)

SSG (Join to see) I have contacts through my chain of command at the G1 level and division level who can get my packet pushed. The E7 at G1 who handles the 368 packets has seen my and said there will be no issue. The problem is my chain of command taking their time and not pushing it up in a timely manner. I will more than likely contact the e7 at G1 level next week to update her on my new situation and see what can be done. Thank you all your help, SSG.

Sounds good. Keep at it. It’s your career but remember there is a right and wrong way. Be smart about it.SGT (Join to see)

SGT (Join to see) You can talk with your chain of command about your situation. Also, if you believe that you have not been afforded employment opportunities because of your military status, you can report those employers to your state's Office of the Attorney General, but you must be 100% sure that it is because of your service.

SGT (Join to see) - Wait, you're telling me that it took them a month to get it to BDE? In your BN and/or BDE in the state AO? I would definitely look at inquiring more often. Track the five W's - who, what, where, when, why & how. It should not have taken a month just to get to BDE. The UA and UAT should both have signature authority, as they are the commander's representative when the commander isn't there. If you have to go above the company, do so respectfully.

SGT Javier Silva in a month, it has went a few doors, SGT. I'm apart of a CSSB. It went from my commanders door down the hall to my battalion commanders door..

SGT (Join to see) - Continue to follow up then. NG units are little different than the AR, and a lot more different than AD.

SGT (Join to see) Reach out to your chain of command and ask them if they have any RMA's or any extra money to bring you on orders until your new job starts. If they don't, start engaging your chain of command and let them know of the issues you're having. Keep pressing them hard for answers.
