However, I can&#39;t say whether or not this is still done. In fact, for my training unit, they smashed more stuff into some of our days just to graduate us prior to the start date of the exodus.

Your goal is 11 weeks of learning how to be a Soldier and then however many weeks your AIT is to learn the basics of your job. Right now that is your goal, everything else is a distraction. Get through training and everything else falls into place just fine.<br /><br />For your edification, my brother had Christmas Exodus and it does still exists. I did not have it and I would argue it&#39;s better to not have it.
