While I am not doing ROTC cadre duty anymore, I believe your commitment is to reserves based on scholarship source.<br /><br />I would recommend talking with your USAR / ARNG unit commander just to be sure. If you cannot switch to active duty, you may consider switching units to voluntarily mobilize for a short term after completing BOLC.
