If young enough, why not apply for OCS? You have two college degrees and have Army experience... Just a thought... If so are you able to pass the Class 1 flight physical? Your going to get this physical 2 times, one in your current base and the second one when you arrive at Ft Rucker Alabama. Based on what you wrote, I don't see why you can go to flight school. To answer your question though, you need to talk to the flight surgeon. Pass that test, be ready. I tried to get in to flight school but since I had 20/30 vision on the PULHES I didn't qualify so I went to Air Traffic Control school 93H at the time. I qualified for a Class 2. My PUHES was 111121. Good luck in Flight School SPC Miranda soon to be WO-1. I was an Air Traffic Controller at Goldberg Stage field. I live at Karen's Army Air Field. For now the only thing I can say is if you pass your flight physical : study, study and study and when your done keep studying. Warrant Officers are expected to be masters of this. Obviously this is just a military help website, but you've got to be on always. This will show heavily during your WO Resume (which is a part of your packet)

The hardest portions of completing a sucessful flight packet are the SIFT (above a 40, but try for above 50 to remain competitive), unique and pointed Letters of Recommendation from your senior leaders (and more than 3 of them), and a passing Class 1 Flight Physical (preferably with no issues/waivers required).

Shoot me a message anytime; but remember, your turn in for the March board is Jan-31. You're going to have to work extra hard to make that timeline, but you can do it.

Best of luck!
