So I&#39;m looking for a change of venue of sorts. But, i don&#39;t know how so I could use your guy&#39;s help. So if you guys could help please? I want to know more about warrant officers. Are they officers, enlisted, or that gray area that's just left alone? 2018-12-27T16:20:18-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 4239290 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>How does one change their mos&#39;? They are technical experts who normally have spent years in their chosen Branch of Service. I think to an extent, they are given more respect than an ENS or 2nd LT. They have been there, done that. Furthermore, if Warrant is the ultimate goal, choose an MOS that will be a feeder MOS to the Warrant MOS that you’re eyeing. In practice (when I was in), they were pretty much left alone. Changing your MOS is tricky. There are several ways on paper to do it. The only way I have seen it happen at the Soldier&#39;s request was part of a reenlistment. That is how I did it. I started off as 11B then reenlisted to reclass to 92F (77F). You are probably not in your window yet, but you could talk to the retention NCO to see what is currently open and what the qualifications are. If you are interested in those, then make sure you work on getting qualified. Of course that job may not be available when your window is open, but it is something to look at. CWOs are commissioned. Response by CWO3 Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 31 at 2018 10:47 AM 2018-12-31T10:47:03-05:00 2018-12-31T10:47:03-05:00 2018-12-27T16:20:18-05:00
