I was in Bosnia from 03-04 for about 9 months. Operation Joint Forge. Am I eligible for the GWOT Service Medal and the Overseas Ribbon?

The correct medal for OJF was the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Your DD 214 showing that you were there during the inclusive dates (1998-2004) is sufficient to prove you earned it.
The GWOTSM is not authorized as OJF was not an approved GWOT operation nor geared towards anti-terrorism.

From what I was able to find after a quick Google search, the answer is 'no' on the GWOT.

The GWOT was just given out when I joined in 08. Maybe the expeditionary GWOT ?
