I know the website says 90 days for school orders. I’m trying to see the average wait time for my orders to be cut so I can give my unit a heads up (currently deployed). I would also appreciate any insight and recommendations prior to showing up for school. Thank you very much and congrats to the others that got selected I was recently selected for Warrant Officer Candidate School. What is the average wait time for school orders, and what should I expect? 2017-09-29T09:36:37-04:00 CW2 Private RallyPoint Member 2957169

The Warrant Officer Candidate Selection list just came out a couple days ago. I waited 6 months before I attended. Since you are deployed then that could effect your timeline. Orders are cut within the first month from my experience and after talking with classmates. As far as WOCS come physically ready and practice land navigation. There are other threads on this subject with more info. Congrats and good luck! Scheduling for WOCS is, in theory, done to align with the WOBC classes.

Recommendations: Don't volunteer for candidate S1. Oh, and there are no Chiefs in WOCS. A fellow candidate called one of the TAC officers chief and had to write a 300 word essay on why that is wrong. Lucky enough I had a CG that didn't want to hold me back. Just know that they can defer you if they want. I was selected last September and had my RFO by November. So pending your WOBC dates will depend on how your WOCS date lines up. I would look on AATRS and see your specific MOS and see how many WOBC dates they run a year. This will give you an idea.
