Otherwise, it takes a 368 which is a conditional release form. I have assisted other components before and that was the hardest step. Best wishes. The problem is your unit/branch has to agree to the conditional release. Talk to an Air Force Reserve recruiter and see if they can help facilitate the transfer. Also another option is looking at the Air Guard. I transferred from Naval Reserve to Air National Guard.
