As a junior enlisted, the two were interchangeable, I lived with my colleagues and saw my bosses outside of work more than I even talked to my family.<br /><br />That being said, we all have our judgements and our biases. But as a medic I was privy to a lot of personal actions and preferences that were never meant to be known by others, and that never kept me from being a professional, doing my job, and still caring for my soldiers.
