If a veteran was to receive a DUI/DWI (ETS) when will they be eligible for reenlistment or is this up to the recruiter?

PFC Rayshad Washington I would gather all of your records and talk to a recruiter.

Can I Still Join the Army If I Have a DWI Conviction?
A DWI, driving while intoxicated, conviction may pose a challenge, but doesn't necessarily eliminate you from joining the Army. According to the website Military.com, some crimes are essentially automatic disqualifiers. Others require that a recruitment officer submit a waiver on your behalf to gain enlistment.

Regardless of your Reentry code, you're going to need a waiver for your DUI.

You can look at your RE-code and get an idea as to whether you will ever be able to enlist again and when.

PFC Rayshad Washington - Oh ok, after you have finished serving whatever time and you are off probabtion, go ask your local recruiter. They should know what the current regs say about that.

PFC Rayshad Washington you could attempt to contact a different recruiter but it may be that standards are such at the moment where they won't take you. The reqs for enlistment change all the time.
