If an officer, warrant officer, or NCO received an award, can the same action the award was given be placed on their next evaluation?

If it is relevant to the area of the report and in the rated period, then yes. An Evaluation is not a military award. You can't recycle something and put it on more than one award unless it is for retirement and you do the ten year slew

Sure, and you can certainly write that they received an award and what that award was.

Any accomplishment doing the rating period may be entered on the evaluation.

Roger that, it sure can, and in a lot of ways, it should. The evaluation being a summary of their efforts, efficacy, and performance over the rated period, leaving out something covered by an award would be leaving out one of the more notable accomplishments in that rating period. Traditionally I would limit it to one bullet, and sometimes would comment on the award itself " o awarded Army Commendation Medal for this great thing, which achieved this objective" sort of format.

Yes, as awards are not seen by the board members besides on the ERB and uniform. Let them know why the Soldier meritted such an award.

If the action deserved an award then it should certainly be included in the evaluation.

Yes, as long as the action falls within the qualifying rating period.
