From what I know about claims for compensation and pension as long as there was one good period of service then anything available to the veteran was provided based on that period of service and the other than honorable or dishonorable discharge period of service was not looked at for anything. <br /><br />Like I said I am not sure if this works for all VBA benefits or not. You would need to call someone at the regional office for the VBA in your area and they could tell you for sure.
