Obviously that invalidates it.Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Jan 25 at 2021 1:07 PM2021-01-25T13:07:24-05:002021-01-25T13:07:24-05:00SGT Edward Wilcox6691604<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No. I would suggest you check out the Jefferson Bible. Thomas Jefferson took it upon himself to edit out all the magic and miracle stuff from the Bible, leaving the morality tales and parables. He felt the Bible was a wonderful source for such things, just needed to lose the other stuff.Response by SGT Edward Wilcox made Jan 25 at 2021 1:10 PM2021-01-25T13:10:03-05:002021-01-25T13:10:03-05:00SFC Melvin Brandenburg6691607<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>no, but it is irrelevant. Often we don't fully understand something and that makes it seem untrue. Also, there are lots of the book that is figurative, and lots that is literal, and it sometimes is difficult to tell the difference. Then, some people expect the Bible to be literal in it's entirety.Response by SFC Melvin Brandenburg made Jan 25 at 2021 1:11 PM2021-01-25T13:11:10-05:002021-01-25T13:11:10-05:00CMSgt Randy Beck6692126<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When has anything in the Bible been proven to be untrue? I think a lot of people do not understand how some of the things in the Bible were written so their interpretation gets skewed. The Bible is the inspired word of God, and God does not make mistakes. We as humans are very flawed and are prone to make mistakes just by being alive. God created the perfect world for us and Adam and Eve screwed it up for us, I can't wait to meet Adam and kick him in his backside for that. The good news though is that once we depart this life, we will not have to worry about sin and misinterpretations, blaming others, and guilt, and,,,, you get the point.Response by CMSgt Randy Beck made Jan 25 at 2021 3:55 PM2021-01-25T15:55:05-05:002021-01-25T15:55:05-05:002021-01-25T13:05:43-05:00
