Will any of Obama's Cabinet hang on if Hillary is elected? In either case, it's an interesting question. How often do Cabinet members remain when Presidents change? Google doesn't provide a direct answer but it did return a link to a website where you can find all the Cabinet members of all Administrations, beginning with George Washington, and you can use these to figure it out for yourself. Yes men and others that just ride along and drink the cool-aid are not good for decession makers. You need people that will challenge dicessions to vet them out and make sure that they are the right choices - like an immagration policy that violated Article I, Section 8, clause 4 of the Constitution that entrusts the federal legislative branch with the power to “establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization.” As Obama taught constitutional law I think he purposely oversteped in regards to this. Some one in his cabinet should have called him on it - but being that they are all suck-ups doesn't surprise me that none did. I don't think Trump or anyone else should put to much weight on the Obama cabinet - as you have to toss Clinton into that mix.

I don't think that anyone will remain, with the possible exception of SECDEF. The purpose of a new administration is to start fresh, bring a different perspective to the White House, and a different approach to solving problems. Personally, with the exception of the aforementioned SECDEF, there is no one from the current President's administration that I want to remain in office and continue to **** up this country.

Actually an interesting concept in this question.

Lets look at a hypothetical Trump win in November. (let's leave out the probability of that happening)

At face value you would think that nobody who served under Obama would want to serve under Trump and the feeling would be mutual.

On the other hand I can see some (not many) who have a strong sense of duty wanting to stay on either to ease a transition or because they think they might be better than whoever Trump would nominate in their place.

As for whether Trump would have them, it depends on whether President Trump would be anything like the candidate Trump we've seen thus far. The candidate has built his popularity on making rash judgments that many consider foolish. But since locking up the GOP nomination he's since dialed back his crazy level and backpedaled on several issues. The question is is the Trump we are seeing now merely pandering to the Independents and disaffected Democrats or is this more of the "Real" Trump (which is what he's currently saying).

The only person that deserves to remain who is tied to this administration is not on the cabinet. It is Directory Comey, of the FBI. Of course, he is a holdover from the Bush administration. Comey is a man of integrity and one of the few federal employees that I trust. He is for the law and justice, and for that only. He is one of the few in Washington that can not be bought. For that, he earns my admiration.

Like everyone else has said, I don't think he'll keep anyone except maybe the full-time White House staff and Secret Service. All the Czars, hair stylists, dog groomers, and Michelle's entourage will all be out the door. Instead, Donald Trump will appoint subject matter experts from industry, education, science, technology, and the military. Not college professors with no practical experience. Not other community organizers and activists. Real professionals who are experts on the economy, healthcare, the environment, and international affairs. Just as he has done in the business world, he will seek the advice of the experts. I am really looking forward to it!!
