If I applied and the MEPS didn't give me a physical because of a medical condition from when I was a child, am I barred from recruitment?

Not even close to enough information.

If you had a condition as a child for example: scoliosis and you out grew it or received treatment the MEPS is going to want all medical documents concearning that to review.

If you were born with hemophilia then may be you are Ineligible.

What did the recruiter say as to why they didn’t give the physical? There is always a reason given.

I believe you already posted this one in another thread. Short answer is every service is different for what is waiverable. Talk to your recruiter.

It depends on your condition but they aren't doing the waivers so much anymore. In fact, anyone non-deployable for 12 months is getting kicked out.

It's not that MEPS isn't giving you a physical, it's that your recruiter is not sending you to MEPS. The recruiting office might have determined that you aren't qualified even for a waiver and so they are not continuing with your packet. This is what you must discuss with your recruiter.

Go to a recruiter and tell them the truth. If you need to provide documentation of your childhood illness then they will tell you to get it and the Recruiter.
