If I choose to stay in the barracks while I’m married, will I still be able to receive BAH?

Married soldiers are not allowed to stay in the barracks except under extreme circumstances and then only temporarily. You cannot "choose" to stay in the barracks if you are married.

What you're thinking of is called the Geographical Bachelor Program which ended years ago. Bottom line is if you're receiving BAH you will not be allowed to live in the barracks.

Nope, you either receive BAH OR stay in the barracks, not both. That is double dipping.
