The Army does not discriminate against your Marine schools, it&#39;s the Marines who discriminate against the army. I knew a platoon Sergeant, E7 who was a master gunner in armor in the California guard. He was working at China Lake as a civilian and was going to get transferred to the East Coast. He was offered an E-1 or E2 position in the Marine Corps Reserve do the exact same job on Abrams tanks. So be grateful the Army is not like the USMC. On the other hand it is a great opportunity to become acclimated with the Army. There will be NCOs from literally every unit on the base exposing you to the full spectrum of Army culture. Theymay show you a thing or two and you may impress them with some Marine things as well. You will only come out better than you came in.
