If I do a voluntary separation for employment, do I still get paid by the Army up until my ETS date?

Here is a link to the separations regulation. Also, if your sep packet is approved, you will be paid until your date of discharge.

If you are separated, your pay stops on your separation date.

If your voluntary separation is approved, your ETS will be adjusted accordingly...you won't keep your contracted ETS and draw pay until then.

With the Army growing, I'm surprised these voluntary separation programs are still available.
