You also have the option for the army to ship it for free. If you have enough time to make the drive and get there in time, then by all means do it. Make sure you have valid insurance, registration, and driver&#39;s license or you won&#39;t be able to get on post. Also, you will get a POV safety inspection, so make sure everything works on it and the tires are good. Just a word of advice on HRAP. In some places, the recruiting chain of command holds HRAP&#39;s accountable for producing leads and referrals. If you don&#39;t produce, then HRAP can be cancelled and you are put back on leave. In other places, HRAP&#39;s are not held accountable for anything and are allowed to just sit around and suck oxygen until there time is up. You are there to contribute to the recruiting effort, not do Private details and answer phones. Not sure which you will walk into, but just know that the expectation of HRAP&#39;s is find people for recruiters to talk to. If you can&#39;t do that, then don&#39;t do HRAP. It is much more convenient to be able to transport yourself around than rely on others. Being that you are aviation, they are located on the far end of post so getting to the PX is a bit of a hike. I drove it from Kentucky to drum. I&#39;d say it&#39;s definitely worth it. Gets you out of your room. Plus, idk how much stuff you have but I was able to fit all my belongings in my car so I didn&#39;t have to worry about how it was getting there. I also got money for moving my own things. Kentucky is also a great place to have a truck, atv, boat, anything outdoorsy. Kentucky lakes are near fort Campbell and that&#39;s a lot of fun. Also if you don&#39;t have a vehicle it&#39;s more difficult to see the area. I suggest going to Cummings falls in Tennessee it&#39;s really close to fort Campbell Response by PFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 26 at 2017 4:21 AM 2017-04-26T04:21:22-04:00 2017-04-26T04:21:22-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 2525505 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thanks everyone!
