SGT Private RallyPoint Member 5237329 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I currently have re-enlisted for the OCONUS option and have orders to Germany in February 2020. My boyfriend and I are planning to get married in December before I PCS. What are that chances that he could get stationed with me? He is a 31B. What are the chances they might delete my orders (not what I want to happen)? If I get married before I PCS to Germany, what are the chances my military spouse can follow me? Is there a chance my orders get deleted? 2019-11-14T22:10:19-05:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 5237329 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I currently have re-enlisted for the OCONUS option and have orders to Germany in February 2020. That means your Germany assignment stays unless you choose to delete it.<br />He probably won&#39;t get stationed with you and if he does he still won&#39;t receive orders for a while and will need to meet time on station requirements. <br />A better option if he is nearing his reenlistment window is that you delete your assignment and he reenlists for an assignment after you&#39;ve enrolled in MACP. You&#39;ll be placed on assignment to the location after he is and you two can PCS together Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 14 at 2019 11:06 PM 2019-11-14T23:06:43-05:00 2019-11-14T23:06:43-05:00 CPT Private RallyPoint Member 5237607 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Once your married you can get stationed together under a spousal assignment program. Yes you can both be enrolled in the MACP and the Army can try and find your spouse a slot at the same duty station, but you also have to remember, the Army likes to save money any way it can so be prepared for them to say no to the initial request and then when it’s time to PCS, then they will make the move to potentially get you to the same location. You will have what is known as a DEROS, which means you are not allowed to leave country until that date. If the Army sends him to Germany after you and his DEROS is greater than 9 months from yours, they WILL NOT approve a common DEROS request and you will leave before him.
