You could very well still stay on orders and just be slotted accordingly. Sadly, won&#39;t really know until the Zero hour arrives. But, I am betting that you will still stay on orders for your projected assignment. SFC James J. Palmer IV aka &quot;JP4&quot; was a SSG when he received PCS orders but was able to pick up SFC right before reporting. And I think he still stayed on the path of assignment. If they are so over strength on 25U3 in Hawaii that they can&#39;t justify sending one more, then HRC will renegotiate your assignment with you.
